Commemorative Air Force- Rocky Mountain Wing

The CAF Mission is to restore and maintain WWII aircraft and related memorabilia to educate, entertain, and inspire current and future generations. We tell stories of the heroes who flew and supported WWII-era Aircraft to keep the memory, spirit, and values of the Greatest Generation alive.

Commemorative Air Force- Rocky Mountain Wing

At the Rocky Mountain Wing, we maintain and operate two aircraft - a Piper J3 Cub primary trainer (the smallest plane built for WWII) and a Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bomber (the largest plane built for the Navy). Our TBM is one of only seven planes to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Both planes fly regularly, and participate in aviation events around the Southwest.
