THE LITTLE MERMAID WILL BECOME

A “PART OF YOUR WORLD”!

Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. is a musical based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated feature film. The cast contains over 100 students ages 5 – 18 from throughout the Grand Valley and is presented by The Theatre Project STAGES program.

This classic Disney title contains all of the songs from the Academy Award® winning animated feature film as well as three new songs from the Broadway show. THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, the king of the sea, escape the clutches of an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the perfect voice.

Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Venue: Grand Junction High School Auditorium

Tickets: $5 (children 4 and under free)

The Theatre Project of Grand Junction is a non-profit community theatre company that provides theatre and musical theatre education programs and performance opportunities to all ages while encouraging a community spirit in the performing arts.  We strive to cultivate creativity in a supportive and nurturing environment and allow all participants the opportunity to explore the performing arts. We endeavor to create an avenue to develop theatrical talents and attempt to instill in the participants, and community, an appreciation and love for the arts and arts education.
