The Daily Sentinel's Senior Life Expo will be Monday, October 8th from 9 am – 2 pm at Two Rivers Convention Center. This FREE interactive fair is a great opportunity for seniors and loved ones to gather information on health services, learn more about a new hobby, or gain valuable insight on topics like estate planning, senior recreation, and senior health and wellness.
Here she comes... Miss America! Jacquelyn Mayer, 1963 Miss America will join us during the expo to tell her inspirational story. A few short years after becoming Miss America Jacquelyn suffered a stroke. Her program, "From Trauma to Triumph" includes lessons on living one day at a time and overcoming adversity. You will find this seminar provoking, entertaining and inspirational.
Our theme this year is "America the Beautiful." We are encouraging participants to wear red, white and blue to honor our great country and the beauty it holds.
This will be a full day of entertainment, seminars to learn from and inspiration to help you live life to the fullest.
